Text processing

Text counting and analysis happens client-side in your web browser. The text you type or paste into Character Counter Pro is not sent to a Character Counter Pro server for counting, storage or review.

No account is required. We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details to use the counter.

Browser storage and cookie banner

The site may use localStorage to remember interface preferences, including the theme setting, the detailsVisible detailed statistics preference and the characterCounterCookieConsent banner choice. This data is stored on your device and can be cleared through your browser settings.

The cookie consent banner explains that Google may use cookies for advertising. Your dismiss or accept choice is stored in localStorage so the banner does not keep appearing on each page.

Google AdSense

Character Counter Pro uses Google AdSense with publisher client ca-pub-6100778423642867. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads, limit repeated ads, measure ad performance and help detect fraud or abuse.
