Character Counter Pro is maintained by Paul O'Donnell, Founder, Chameleon Partnership. The site is published by Chameleon Partnership as a focused set of browser-based text tools for people who need to check length, format, structure and cleanup before copy reaches a public system.
The domain started with a character counter because that is the everyday job people arrive with. The site now brings related text tools together in one place so the work feels coherent: count the draft, clean the draft, convert the format, create the slug and check the timing.
Why the tools are browser-first
Many drafts are private before they are published. They can include campaign ideas, product names, pricing notes, support examples, app store copy or internal launch details. A small utility should not require an account or an upload just to count words or remove duplicate lines.
Every tool here runs client-side. The site may use local browser storage for preferences and cookie consent, but typed text is not sent to a Character Counter Pro server for processing. For corrections or questions, email paulodonnell@chameleonpartnership.com.
